Stride

Terms of Service

Effective October 7, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Kush Patel, who builds and operates Stride. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Stride.

What Stride is

Stride is a study app. It connects to your iCollege (D2L Brightspace) account, syncs your courses, and uses AI to build study material and answer questions grounded in your own course material. Stride is not affiliated with Georgia State University, D2L, or Brightspace, and nothing in Stride is an official record of your grades or standing.

Your account

Using Stride honestly

Stride is a study tool. You are responsible for following your school's academic integrity rules, and for how you use anything Stride produces. Stride declines requests to complete graded work on your behalf. Do not use Stride to access anyone else's iCollege account, to scrape or redistribute course material you are not allowed to share, to probe or overload the service, or to break the law.

AI content

Study material and answers are generated by AI from your course material. They can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Stride shows citations so you can check the source; check them before an exam. Stride is not a substitute for your instructor or your course.

Plans and billing

Your content

Your course material, uploads, chats, and the material Stride generates for you stay yours. You give Stride permission to store and process them to provide the service, including sending excerpts to the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy. Stride does not sell your content and does not use it to train AI models.

Stride's content

The app, its design, and its code belong to Stride. You may use them only through the app, for your own studying.

Ending things

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Stride may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service at risk, and may change or discontinue features. If Stride discontinues the service, you will be given notice and a way to export your data.

No warranty

Stride is provided as is. Stride does not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that synced data from iCollege is complete or current.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, Stride is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost grades or academic consequences, arising from your use of the app. Stride's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Stride in the twelve months before the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, the effective date above changes and the app will say so. Continuing to use Stride after that means you accept the new terms.
